What is MediaShow 4.0? What features does it have?

What file formats are supported by MediaShow4.0?

• Photo file formats : BMP, JPEG, PNG
• Video file formats: DV-AVI, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, DVR-MS, WMV
• Export formats: MPEG 2, WMV
• DVD burning: DVD+-R, DVD+-RW and Dual Layer

May I create multiple screen savers? Where can I locate the files? Where is the screensaver file saved?

• Photos can be easily added to the existing Screen Saver folder.
• Audio files can be imported as background music throughout the creation process.
• Media Show 4.0 allows you to use the created Screen Saver as your default screen saver for windows: "scmsaver.scr" located in: C:\Windows\System32, and with .SCR format. *.scr is the only output format created by MediaShow 4.0.
• The newly created Screen Saver will replace the existing one using the same default filename.

How do I add background music to the screensaver?

You may add background music to the screen saver by the steps below. Preference -> Screen Saver -> Background Music
Select an audio file or the folder that contains the music (in WAV or MP3 format) that you want to use for your screen saver. Select a folder if you want to use multiple songs in your screensaver.

How many photos can I upload to Flickr? How can I manage my account?

When you have a free Flickr account, you can upload 100 MB worth of photos each calendar month. This is a bandwidth limit, not the amount of space that you have on Flickr’s server.

How can I create a movie?

To create a movie, do this:
1. Select and Hold (in the Tray) all the videos in your Library that you want to include in your movie and then click Movie. The Create Movie window will be displayed.
2. Click on Style to select a movie style template that fits your video. Selecting a style template provides pre-designed opening sequences, transitions and effects to automatically generate professional-looking movie.
3. Click on Mix and then on to add background music to your movie.
4. click the Produce Movie button to output a finished version to a video file. The finished movie will be produced and saved in your Library.
   Note: In the sound mix setting, when we move the slider to Background music 100% and Master 0%, the music in the opening video will be muted as well.

Can I mix the video files and photos on my created DVDs?

While creating DVDs, video clips and photos cannot be mixed together. MediaShow 4.0 program will tend to produce the DVD content starting from all the video clips from the library, followed by all the photos.

What are “Albums” and “Tags” for?

Album:

The Albums section is a grouping of your media that you can create, helping you organize your media and prepare it for creating slideshows, DVDs, etc. Also, whenever you add media to your Favorites, it will be placed in the Favorite Media folder in albums automatically.
Once you select Create a new album, enter in a name and description of the album in the window that open.

Tag:

Tags can be added to your photos and videos to make it easier to search for specific media later. Tags are also useful when uploading media to Flickr and YouTube, as users search by tags to find videos and photos they are interested in.

More than one tag can be added to a single photo or video.
